Have you registered? Seriously, you must register in order to log in. Have you been banned from the board? (A message will be displayed at login if you have.) If so, you should contact the website administrator to find out why. If you have registered and are not banned and you still cannot log in then check and double-check your username and password. Usually this is the problem; if not, contact the administrator they may have incorrect configuration settings for the board.
You may not have to -- If you wish to just browse and search the forums. However, registration will allow you to create threads/topic and reply to other users posts. Also you will have access to additional features such as thread subscription. It only takes a few minutes to register so it is recommended you do so.
If you do not check the Remember Login box when you log in, the board will only keep you logged in for a preset time. This prevents misuse of your account by anyone else. To stay logged in, check the box during login. This is not recommended if you access the board from a shared computer, e.g. library, internet cafe, university cluster, etc.
Don't panic! While your password cannot be retrieved it can be reset. To do this go to the login page and click I've forgotten my password. Follow the instructions and you should be back online in no time.
First check that you are entering the correct username and password. If they are okay then maybe your account need activating. When you registered you would be informed that an email would be sent with instructions on how to activate your account. if you did not receive the email then check that your email address is valid. One reason activation is used is to reduce the possibility of rogue users abusing the board anonymously. If you are sure the email address you used is valid then try contacting website administrator
Please note that the activation link only remains valid for 24 hours. Any attempt to activate after this will fail and you must re-register
The most likely reasons for this are: you entered an incorrect username or password (check the email you were sent when you first registered) or the administrator has deleted your account for some reason. If it is the latter case then perhaps you did not post anything? It is usual for boards to periodically remove users who have not posted anything so as to reduce the size of the database. Try registering again and get involved in discussions.

Unless you are the board admin or forum moderator you can only edit or delete your own posts in premoderated forums. Post-moderated forums by their nature allow posts to appear immediatly they are posted. Subsequent originator editing is prohibited. For premoderated forums you can edit a post at any time up to the point where a moderator permits (or denies!) it by clicking Edit Post or Delete Post for the relevant post.
If moderators or administrators edit the post they should leave a message saying what they altered and why.
Please note that normal users cannot delete a post once someone has replied.
If the board administrator has granted you moderation rights then upon logging into the bulletin board, a message will be displayed informing you there are posts awaiting modereration. Simply click on the link and a page will list all post awaiting moderation. You can view the post by clicking on the title. The options to permit/edit/move/delete/Deny are available; selecting one of these performs moderation. If you edit a post proir to permitting it then you should include text to say why.
You must be logged in and the post be visible (You can't subscribe to posts awaiting moderation!). Navigate the topic thread to the post of interest and tick the Subscribe to this thread via email box. Any replies to this (or to posts further down the thread) cause an e-mail notification to be sent to you. This avoids having to periodically check the forum for replies.
This is set by the board administrator. The default value is 4 days
Why can't I see my post in the Forum?
This will happen if you post to a premoderated forum. These are identified by the icon Posts remain invisble to other users until permitted by the Board Moderators. Also, it may be that for some reason the forum moderator has either deleted or moved you post to another topic/forum. In each either case you will recieve e-mail notification of the action taken.
Only the forums available in the public domain are visible for guests and registered users. There are other private forums limited to certain users or groups at LN Systems discretion. To view, read, post, etc. you will need special authorization which only board administrator can grant, so you should contact them.

The latest version offers superior Word compatibility and XHTML 1.1 support. KTML has wide browser compatibility and supports most platforms (including MAC).
The editor will allow you to use most HTML tags but prevents errors likley to destroy forum page layout.

Announcements
often contain important information and you should read them as soon as possible. Announcements appear at the top of every page in the forum to which they are posted. You cannot reply top announcements. They are posted by either the the board administrator or moderators and relate to the forum or specific topics
Sticky topics
appear below any announcements in view forum and only on the first page. They are often quite important so you should read them where possible. as with announcements the board administrator or moderator may post but you can reply to sticky topics in the forum.
Locked topics
are set this way by either the forum moderator or board administrator. You cannot reply to locked topics. Topics may be locked for many reasons.
Administrators are people assigned the highest level of control over the entire board. These people can control all facets of board operation which include setting permissions, banning users, creating usergroups or moderators, etc. They also have full moderator capabilities in all the forums.
Moderators are individuals (or groups of individuals) whose job it is to look after the running of the forums from day to day. They have the power to edit or delete posts and lock, unlock, move, delete and split topics in the forum they moderate. Generally moderators are there to prevent people going off-topic or posting abusive or offensive material
You can add attachments when you post a new post. You should see a Browse... button near the main posting box. When you click the Browse... button the standard Open dialogue window for your computer will open. Browse to the file you want to attach, select it and click OK, Open or double click according to your liking and/or the correct procedure for your computer. The board administrator sets an upper limit for filesize. Be aware that it's your responsiblity that your attachments comply with the boards acceptance of use policy, and that they may be deleted without warning.
Please note that the boards owner, administrator or moderators can not and will not take responsibility for any loss of data.
To add an attachment after the initial posting you'll need to edit your post and follow the description above. The new attachment will be added when you click Submit to add the edited post. Please note for premoderated forums you can only add attachments while the post is awaiting moderation. For post moderated forums there is a 'grace period' set by the board administrator in which you can edit the post. After which, adding attchments is not permitted. In both cases, if the post has been replied to, adding attachements is not permitted as this may lead to loss of context in the discussion thread.
As above, select edit post then
delete attachment Providing you are within the 'grace period' or the post is awaiting moderation the attachment will be removed from the post
Files of any type may be uploaded.
Most probably a moderator or administrator has deleted it for being in conflict with the boards acceptance of use policy.
This can happen for a variety of reasons:
If any of the above conditions hold and you still wish to have an attachment retracted you should contact the board administrator.
You should first contact one of the Forum Moderators and ask them who you should in turn contact. If you still get no response you should contact the Board Administrator
